Terms
These terms explain how Cero One can be used and where responsibility stays with the user.
Effective May 30, 2026.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Cero One account unless Cero One has a separate written agreement that allows a different age with appropriate consent. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
Using the app
Cero One is a task-initiation tool designed to help you start with one clear next start and a smaller fallback. It is not professional care, crisis support, emergency support, or legal or financial advice.
Cero One does not treat, diagnose, prevent, monitor, or resolve any health, mental health, safety, legal, or financial condition.
Do not use Cero One for emergencies or crisis situations. Cero One is not monitored for crisis response and cannot contact emergency services for you. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if there is immediate danger, call emergency services. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for the activity that happens through your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of text, check-ins, starts, reflections, saved return points, and other content you enter. You give Cero One permission to use that content only as needed to operate, protect, support, and improve the service, including generating starts, preserving continuity, handling support or deletion requests, enforcing safety boundaries, and maintaining billing records.
Do not enter sensitive information that is not needed for a start or return.
Safety pauses and review
If Cero One detects language that appears to involve self-harm, harm to another person, or immediate danger, the app may pause task tools and show support resources instead of creating a start, timer, cue, pattern, Weekly Return item, or Weekly Refresh item.
A safety pause is not a diagnosis, a care decision, or a monitored crisis response. It is a product boundary. If a pause happened by mistake, contact support for review.
Repeated safety pauses, attempts to bypass safety guardrails, threats, abusive behavior, or use of Cero One for crisis or emergency situations may require manual review before task tools are restored.
Reasonable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use the product in ways that break applicable law.
Suspension or termination
Cero One may restrict, suspend, or terminate access after review if an account is used to misuse the service, threaten others, repeatedly trigger safety pauses in a way that appears abusive or unsafe, bypass safeguards, or violate these terms.
If a paid account is suspended or terminated, billing access and renewal will be handled through the billing provider and applicable law.
Availability
We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product improves.
AI and refinement
Some features may use AI to refine wording or polish approved product facts. AI is not the pattern engine, does not provide care or advice, and may be wrong. Do not rely on AI output for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
Payments
Paid plans are subscription plans. Pricing, billing cadence, and checkout details are shown before purchase and in the billing area of the app. Unless cancelled, paid plans renew each billing period through the billing provider.
You can manage or cancel future renewal from Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal when a billing account is connected. Cancellation applies to future renewals; access may continue through the current paid period unless the provider, these terms, or applicable law require a different result.
Refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law or expressly provided by the billing provider.
If task tools remain paused on a paid account and the account is not restored after review, Cero One may cancel future renewal or stop future billing. Cero One should not keep charging indefinitely for an account where core paid functionality remains unavailable.
Ending your use
You can stop using Cero One at any time. You can also delete your account inside the app from the Account screen. Account deletion attempts to stop connected Stripe billing before deletion. If billing started through another provider or cancellation fails, use Billing, the provider, or support to prevent future renewal.
No guarantees
Cero One is provided as available. We do not guarantee that any start, cue, pattern, Weekly Return, Weekly Refresh, experiment, notification, or return point will work for you or be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cero One is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from use of the service.
