Privacy

Your data should help you start, not become another burden.

This explains what Cero One stores, why it stores it, who helps us run it, and how you can control or delete your data.

Effective May 30, 2026.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to create your account and support the app's starting flow.

  • Your email address and authentication details
  • Your onboarding responses and notification preferences
  • Your daily check-ins, starts, resets, reflections, Weekly Return data, and Weekly Refresh data
  • Optional coarse context, such as a task character tag or broad environment tag, if you choose to provide it
  • Minimal bucketed safety flags if task tools are paused after high-risk language
  • Basic technical data like timezone and timestamps so the app can show the right next start at the right time
  • Billing identifiers and subscription status if paid features are enabled. Stripe handles payment card details.
  • Support messages, deletion requests, or billing requests you choose to send

Why we use it

Cero One uses your data to keep continuity across days, generate a smaller next start, time supportive cues, produce Weekly Return and Weekly Refresh observations, maintain subscriptions, respond to support requests, protect the service, and improve the app's ability to help you start when starting feels hard.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use Cero One data for targeted advertising.
  • We do not use pattern data to rank users against other users.
  • We do not store raw task, focus, saved-place, cue, blocker, or reflection text in product analytics when a bucketed value can answer the product question.

Refinement features

If refinement features are enabled, limited task or reflection data may be processed to support Adaptive Weekly Refresh or sharper start wording. Those features refine support; the core product remains rules-based.

AI copy-polish for Weekly Refresh receives approved aggregate facts and buckets, not raw task, focus, saved-place, reflection, blocker, or safety text for pattern generation.

Safety handling

If Cero One detects high-risk language, it may pause task tools and show crisis resources. Product analytics store only bucketed safety information, such as the risk category and safety state. We do not use raw safety text for product analytics, scoring, ranking, advertising, Weekly Return, or Weekly Refresh patterns.

If you contact support about a safety pause, the information you choose to include in that email may be reviewed to handle the request. The app does not place raw safety text into product analytics.

Who helps us run it

We use infrastructure providers to run the app, store account data, send account and password-reset emails, and support billing if paid features are enabled.

  • Supabase for authentication and database storage
  • Vercel for app hosting
  • Resend for email delivery
  • Stripe for subscription-related billing, when applicable
  • Anthropic for refinement features, when applicable

Retention and security

We keep account and product data while your account is active and as needed to run the app, protect the service, resolve support requests, meet legal or accounting obligations, or maintain security records. Account deletion removes in-product history connected to the account, subject to limited records that may need to be retained for billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or legal reasons.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Deletion and control

You can delete your account inside the app from Account. That permanently removes your account and associated daily history from the product.

You can also request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help by contacting support. If your location gives you specific privacy rights, include the request you want us to review.

Need the public deletion instructions? Open the account deletion page.

Children

Cero One accounts are intended for users 18 or older unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Cero One is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact support so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
